Interesting project.

Yet I won't ever use a project that relies on installing and running a patched version of claude that is not auditable (because it's packaged in a zip file).

Why not publish this patched version as a npm package to solve this issue?

I think the underlying issue was fixed here: anthropics/claude-code#424. I've been able to get a fork working with latest and don't have any issues.
