test data

Good afternoon!

I'm trying to run the test suite for blr to verify that everything is functioning correctly on my server. However, I noticed that the blr-testdata folder referenced in the test scripts is missing from the repository.

Is there any way to obtain this test data?

I also tried running blr with my own stLFR dataset. It progressed to 99%, but then stopped without completing. Unfortunately, the logs don’t provide enough detail to pinpoint the issue. I’d like to run the tests to help determine whether the problem is with my data or with the installation/environment.

I believe this is also the same problem the automatic testing of this pipeline is running into:

The files were previously stored on a remote facility, so either the storage project has expired or the link might have been changed. To ensure long-term stability maybe these should be stored directly on in the project? Or make a separate BLR_data github repo?

I believe either @pontushojer or @HSiga have access to the newest testfiles and should be able to share them. Unfortunately I only have version 0.5, rather then the latest 0.7.

Hi @IlinaMargo and @FrickTobias,

The test data was previously hosted on an HPC cluster that was decommissioned in December last year. I will move the latest version into the repo for now, see PR #91.

@IlinaMargo Once the PR has been merged, test files can be found in the tests/test data directory. Could you try and run the stLFR test files and see if that works for you and we can proceed from there?
