The Beast won't spawn

The mod description states "Repair the statue and place vanite pumpkin".
I found the statue and I don't know, which way it should be. There is no guide, no images of it on ModRinth, no mentions of how to do it in the videos on youtube.

How I've tried to repair it, based on the original statue state:

The body has 2 vanite blocks in the middle surrounded by gold blocks. So 16 gold blocks and 2 vanite blocks for the body.

All the bricks and iron blocks need to be there which they are if you did not break anything. The vanite block below the vanite pumpkin is also required.

Once you do that break and replace the vanite pumpkin.

It worked! I even recreated it by memory! It works only when faced north, right?

It only works in that direction yes, you are meant to fight the boss in the mansion and it would be very annoying to recreate it somewhere else which is why it only works in this particular direction.
