Working on my wordclock for a while. first prototype was on a raspberry running a python script. Second clock is migrating to ESPhome for easy integration with HA. Had troubles with the different implementations found on the web but this one worked very well and a very future proof approach to be 100% YAML! Appreciate the work you invested in this. Probably the longest ESPhome YAML file i have seen :).

This absolutely made my day! I'm glad my project helped you out, it was a bit chaotic as I smashed together a few different word clocks to assemble it. I hope I can make the yaml a bit shorter some day too, but this just worked (TM) and I was happy it was all yaml / esphome native.
