I have completed a comprehensive testing pass on the ClassFlow React frontend to ensure that everything from user authentication to the main dashboard is working reliably. The goal was to verify that the application provides a smooth experience for students managing their academic life.
Using a combination of Vitest and React Testing Library, I conducted 8 targeted tests. All of these tests passed successfully, confirming that our core UI logic is solid and production-ready.

Our first priority was ensuring users can safely and easily access their accounts. I verified that the login form renders all necessary fields and that the "Sign In" button behaves correctly.
- I specifically checked the password visibility toggle to ensure users can verify their input.
- I also verified the "Processing..." state, which gives the user clear feedback that their login request is being handled after they click submit.
The dashboard is the heart of ClassFlow. I tested the homepage to ensure it generates the correct time-based greetings (Morning, Afternoon, or Evening) and that the "Today's Overview" and "Quick Actions" sections populate correctly once the data is fetched from the services.
On the Events page, I tested the category filtering system. We want to make sure students can quickly switch between seeing all events, classes, or exams.
- I also confirmed that if a user hasn't added any events yet, they see a clear, helpful "Empty State" message instead of a blank screen.
I verified the timetable interface, specifically checking the day selection tabs (Monday through Sunday). The tests confirm that the header displays correctly and that the "No classes" message appears gracefully on days where nothing is scheduled.
For this testing session, I used Vitest for its speed and React Testing Library to simulate how a real user interacts with the browser.
