Features lack properties

@rmhorne this repo is great! GeoJSON has some roots at AWMC and seeing this data makes me very happy.

I noticed that the features in https://github.com/AWMC/geodata/blob/master/Cultural-Data/walls/walls.geojson have no properties or meaningful identifiers. For example:

"properties": { "id": 0, "timeperiod": null, "known": null, "creator": null }

Similarly, the features in https://github.com/AWMC/geodata/blob/master/Cultural-Data/political_shading/roman_empire_ce_200_extent/roman_empire_ce_200_extent.geojson have some ArcGIS bookkeeping attributes but no labels.

Do you have a plan to join the shapes up with labels from the Barrington? Links to Pleiades?

Thanks for the feedback @sgillies (it has been a while!) Right now this is more or less a data dump of the AWMC, warts and all - we are going to be working on cleaning up the attributes, aligning identifiers with Pleiades IDs, and assigning period information from http://perio.do/. There is a lot of cleanup to be done, but hopefully we can go through it pretty quickly.

I'll add a document that outlines our desired attributes / etc in the near future. We certainly welcome any help chewing through more than a decade of center data!

If you look at https://github.com/AWMC/geodata/blob/master/Cultural-Data/urban_areas/urban_areas.geojson you can see what the attributes will look like. Unfortunately there was some attribute title truncation, but that should be fixed with a rebuild of QGIS.
