What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Source used:
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
<aiml>
  <category>
    <pattern>
      SHOW VERSION
    </pattern>
    <template>
      Version is <version />
    </template>
  </category> 
</aiml>

2. Human: show version

3. Robot: Version is <version/> 

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

  Robot: Version is 2.0

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

  I am using version program_ap_0_0_4_3 on Linux/Ubuntu 13.10

Please provide any additional information below.
