It seems from a little bit of playing around with phoenixd that the default location for the .phoenix directory is ~ regardless of where the daemon is actually being run. I am aware that you can set the data-dir using an env var but when that isn't set, wouldn't it make more sense to install the directory next to the daemon itself?
