Code formatting 🧹

I want to take an afternoon-ish and format the RespiLens codebase so that there is some convention of indenting, spacing, new lines, comments, etc. After the hubverse dev meeting and the idea that someone else may look at the code, I feel like it needs to be tidied up a bit. I will look into js auto-formatter, or if there are not options i like, i will do it manually.

@jcblemai do you object to an auto-formatter for the front end code? it's okay if yes. i just think it could be nice for things to be uniform

no, I think it's a good idea, especially as CI

  • CSS: /* prettier-ignore */
  • Markdown: <!-- prettier-ignore -->
  • can also do a range of code, see docs
• variety of files added to .prettierignore
• no non-default options set in .prettierc (config file)
