Repeated “Cannot find any valid scope object” warnings after upgrade to DS CRIS 2024.02.03 #533
Description
Since upgrading to DS CRIS 2024.02.03, we have been seeing repeated warning messages in the backend log on almost every request, e.g.,
2025-11-28 14:02:03,269 WARN unknown unknown org.dspace.app.rest.utils.ScopeResolver @ Cannot find any valid scope object related to this scope null
We have not yet been able to identify the root cause. The warning appears across different entity types, regardless of whether the user is logged in or anonymous and on a wide variety of REST endpoints
If the message indicates a legitimate configuration issue, we would appreciate guidance on what might be missing or misconfigured.
