Expected behavior

Update/downgrade should proceed or at least clearly inform the user that downgrade is not possible (what shouldn't be the case? I would expect a warning and eventually force flag required to proceed).

Actual behavior

After updating and rebooting, I get into v0.8.0-rc1

Log rather shows successful flashing, so this may be a problem with update process in general if this can be reproduced later on.
