(Request) Re-integrate Speedmod/Flymod

I was crawling the forums and noticed a few other users feel similarly about the differences between this version of Zombe and the previous. The main change that I would really like to see is the flying and speed mods both re-integrated and revised to feel more like the original. I find that the flying is painstakingly slow and with it crashing upon using the "Speedmod" button, it makes attempting to build a painfully slow endeavor.

So the main problem, is the speed of speedmod and that it isnt running (automaticly) while using flymod ?

Slow is the "default" config. U can change that Speed from 0(something around walking) to 10 which isnt that slow. To be honest, Server without anticheat + you running with speed 10 = Server crash.
Im not sure but i think Speed 10 is even too much for mc which "teleports" u back. So around 8-9 would be best.
If 10 is still too slow, in the config u can set the value as u want, but i cant guarantee that it will work well.
As i wrote in that other ticket that crash fix is fast (if i know what happend)
F7 is the default key to open the Setting Page(s).

I think it's more along the lines of the toggle issue. Being able to press the key like a "Sprint" key for a few seconds to rapidly move across a distance and then letting off of the key for precise movement at normal speed. Plus being able to move vertically at the high speed when holding the key and then normal speed when not. Speedmod should be able to affect the vertical movement speed of the flymod too when enabled.

As for the speed feeling "Off" it's mainly because the defaults aren't the same values or at least don't seem to be. It'd be nice if we could manually set values with a text box or a more precise slider.

If I disable the "Toggle" option in the speedmod menu, then it disables the ability to use the mod at all. Which isn't quite the same as the old functionality where you could disable the toggle mode so that you could speed only when holding a certain key. (In my case LControl.)

For example. ( I'm trying to fly up and then over a mountain, well it's pretty large, so I hold left_control while holding the vertical flight key, and I fly rapidly up to the height above the mountain, now I press forward while still holding ctrl and I fly rapidly forward until I see where I wanted to arrive at, then I disable flight until I fall to the location with momentum preserved until I land. I then release control. godmode is currently on so damage doesn't matter)

It could be added as a toggle switch so those who prefer the current version can still enjoy it.

I managed to get a clip uploaded to youtube. In the video notice how natural and smooth the movement is. The integration of flying and speed functions is crucial to the movement of the flymod. pressing the key twice can become tedious and when trying to do precision work often causes mistakes. You can set the Speed value of Speedmod in the config, if u dont like the slider
%appdata%/.minecraft/mods/Lite_Zombe. edit the config.cfg and the value "Speed-Mod.speed:1.0"
same for flyspeed (up/down).
The Code for Speeding up the client is copied from the original, so basicly only the values or the calling point (intern) can be diffrent or the timings of calling the update function.
Im not sure if the original mod had a "smoothing" to speed up till max speed and slow down till normal

I've managed to tweak the values to get the correct speeds, but is there a way to remove the toggle for speedmod so I can have it active when holding ctrl instead of pressing it once for on and then again to turn it off? The old zombe had a "Flying speed modifier" value that you could adjust and link to a key. I don't want to have to adjust the speed in the menu every time I want to move quickly and then adjust it back to normal right after. That's all that's really left to getting this back to feeling like the original Zombe.

I feel that I might be slightly misunderstood here. I've highlighted the missing features that myself and others would like to see added with Red/Green. The purple isn't what needs to be changed, it's fine as is. We want to be able to use the Red/Green features to be able to change speed by pressing the key for a few seconds.

The flying speed modifier is needed. I don't want to be flying around with my vertical speed at 9 all the time. Just when I'm holding a certain key, am I making sense? I'm sorry if not. It's difficult for me to explain this. ( Basically you end up flying into the side of hills and waiting to get over objects because the vertical speed at default isn't quick enough to use with speedmod without the modifier. Like, it should scale with the speed modifier so that you can fly above things while moving fast and be able to ascend quickly when working on large builds)

We basically need back the "Flying Speed Modifier" so it affects vertical speed when enabled. Because otherwise moving is painfully slow and opening the menu every time is extremely ineffective/tedious/slow when you're trying to work on a large build.

The way your speedtoggle is setup is very frustrating, because if you're not moving and accidentally press ctrl or even press it to hold it down before moving it disables it which is kind of counter intuitive imho. (it also disables itself when trying to fly up and move forward at the same time, which is difficult to enjoy moving with. It feels very "Stop and go" vs the fluid easy movement that the previous flymod offered with it's version.)

The simplest way I can explain is this:
I would like to be able to press X (Enables flightmode)
Then HOLDING CTRL (enable speed&flightspeed modifier) and pressing C (To fly up) then holding W (to move forward) and tapping C or V once in a while to ascend/descend over hills and terrain before releasing CTRL+W and then descending/moving at normal speed.

If you watched the youtube video you can see how easily I can move around and traverse the terrain with the previous Zombe. It's not possible to move like that in the Litemod version without having to stop, open the menu, change the value, move, stop, open the menu again, change the value back, move again, open the menu, etc.

If you did understand what I meant but just didn't say anything I'm sorry for seeming like a jerk, I really like Zombe mod and want desperately to be able to use the flight as it was back in the day. I actually stopped playing minecraft when people quit updating Zombe mod because trying to move around without it is so slow and difficult that I get frustrated/annoyed.

Plus being able to fly without having the annoying "Drift" effect is one of the main reasons people used Zombe.

In the meantime, I've mainly disabled flight and speedmod of Lite_Zombe and have been using https://github.com/DaFlight/DaFlight as it's the closest to the original Zombe flight.

I still enjoy this mod and appreciate the work you've done on it. (If there's any way I can donate or contribute please let me know.) (I'm still using it for seeing through walls, which is great for building.)

maybe the diffrence is that i set the speed instead of adding/subtracting it.
I looked into the code of daFlight (earlier) and it was nearly the same.

i looked into it and i saw there is allready a toggle button :D

basicly it only activates fly if it is enabled AND the enable key is pressed
